Social Groups

F.I.S.H.

Fellowship in someone's home groups are a unique opportunity to gather together with other Christians on a regular basis. Groups share a meal, conversation, a devotional or Bible Study time, and build a supporting, caring, family relationship with a group of other Christians. F.I.S.H groups can form any time and usually are made up of three to five couples or 6 to 10 individuals (or a composite of each). For more information on how to form a F.I.S.H group, or to become a part of an existing one, simply call the church office and ask to speak to Pastor Banner.

The Movers & Shakers

This is a regular gathering of individuals who may be married, single, divorced, or widowed but who often find themselves coming to church events alone and would like to develop relationships with others in a similar situation. Events include dinners, evenings out, programs, hiking, camping, or anything the group decides to do. For more information call the church office at 881-0833.

Thimbles and Threads Women's Quilt Club

The Thimbles-N-Threads Women’s Quilt Group has been at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church since June 2002. TNT is a women’s group designed to promote the art of quilt making. We offer friendship, fun and learning activities and we create “Comfort Quilts” for the lonely, sick, and hurting in our church family. All interested women of the church are invited to come! We meet in the Fellowship Hall on the first and third Thursday of the month, from 9:30 am until noon. For more information, contact Eileen Lammers at 725-0301. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced, we would love to have you join us!

Many other fellowship activities occur year-round. Check the calendar for more events!
