energy and gratitude, humbleness and joy all rolled into
one. God loves you! He chose your gift(s) for you
because He knows you better than you know yourself. He
knows what will bring you fulfillment and purpose and
how you can best be used as a vessel to grow His Body
(the church). He desires you to experience joy in
serving, and when you use your spiritual gift(s), you
will experience joy and freedom like never before.

At Prince of Peace we are committed to
being a church that knows the gifts of its members, a
community that thrives on members doing what they are
gifted to do so that they are not just "warm bodies"
doing only what they feel obligated to do. We believe
that God has called each of our members to this place at
this time for a specific purpose. Our ministry is
"gifts-based", encouraging all members to discover their
gifts so that no one is left on the sidelines, and no
one is overextended. As a gifts-based church, we
understand that our ministry will flow from the gifts of
our members. We believe that we are not here to be
served, but to serve; and we realize that service
pleases God when it's done with cheerful and grateful
hearts.
One of the most beautiful pictures of the church is the
one Martin Luther painted by preaching the "priesthood
of all believers". No one left out; no one on the
sidelines; each of us "Made for Ministry" with a
God-given unique "SHAPE":
