Children & Youth in Worship

Children and youth particpate  worship in a variety of ways, frequently involved as greeters, ushers, acolytes, and worship assistants. The youngest among them is welcome to spend time in the nursery with a loving care provider.

Children's/Youth Library

Offers children and youth  a place of their own, providing  Christian oriented books and materials to help inspire, comfort and affirm their faith.

The 2021 Gathering has been  postponed to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 ELCA Youth Gathering will be held July 24-28, 2022, in Minneapolis, with the two pre-events, the Multicultural Youth Leadership Event (MYLE) and the tAble, scheduled for July 21-24, 2022.
ABOUT THE GATHERING:  Every three years, 30,000 high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for a week of faith formation.
